Description: The REEB brings together different structures and individuals implicated in the development of environmental education. A group of volunteers assemble the means and competencies and make them available to all, allowing for the development of environmental education projects. They provide advice to project leaders and give technical aid for setting up new projects.

Description: Network of environmental information for the Brittany region of France. Bretagne Environnement accompanies environmental actors and network members, informing them of regional and local environmental information and making this information accessible to the public, principally via the website. Specifically related to the aquatic environment, Bretagne Environnement has a sub-site called "Observatoire de l'Eau".

Specialised in coastal management, traditional fisheries, aquaculture and water issues. Documentary resources are available for consultation by the public.

Description: A French international centre for cooperation and development in agronomy research (for countries in the southern hemisphere and French overseas territories). This francophone website "AquaTrop" is dedicated to aquaculture in the southern hemisphere and is aimed at fish farmers, relevant stakeholders and all those interested in tropical aquaculture. A part of the website provides access to educational material, games and brochures, with the aim of improving knowledge.

Description: The NJAAS promotes understanding, appreciation and protection of aquatic life and habitats through research, education and youth development programmes. In terms of education, there are a wide array of activities, including classroom activities, outreach programmes, distance learning courses, sleepovers at aquariums and tours. There are activities to suit children, teachers and families. The research focus is on the conservation of aquatic resources. In terms of the community the NJAAS is dedicated to the national U.S. effort to strengthen science education for young people through renowned programmes that address the needs of economically, socially and academically disadvantaged young people.

Description: The Institute of Fisheries Management (IFM) is an international organisation of people sharing a common interest in the modern management of recreational and commercial fisheries. Created in 1969 in the UK, the IFM is dedicated to the advancement of sustainable fisheries management in all its forms. It is a non-profit making organisation controlled by the membership and governed by an elected council. Members are drawn from professional fisheries managers, regulatory and research bodies, fishing and angling organisations, water companies, fish farms and private individuals whose interests in fisheries are represented at many levels within government and conservation bodies.
